With the announcement that Rob Collard will again be driving for the West Surrey Racing Team for 2017, we look at all the major changes and new additions to the BTCC 2017 championship.
Yuasa Honda will be down to two cars for the rest of the season due to the withdrawal of #57 Andy Neate who scored no points in the opening round of the 2016 season.
No reason has been given for the slit but thr split is taken with immediate effect. The new season over the BTCC got of to good start with its testing session at Dpnington Park in which the rain thankfully stayed away. Team Dynamics Matt Neal was fastest with the New Honda Civic Type R sponsored by Halfords for the first time in 10 years.
The new Subaru run by Team BMR unfortuntitly didn't make it as they were unable to get all three cars ready in time. They did however manage to get one car ready intime which was used as a press car giving us an idea of what the final car is going to look like. This year features a 32 car grid which is the biggest we have ever had at the start of the season. This means that the should be a lot of action this season with the opener at Brands Hatch just days away Photo source: CD Photography |
